The possibilities are limitless. One role of the arts, story telling (in whatever medium), has been to bring us into the minds and personalities, emotions and experiences, of other people. Such interjection into the lives of others can help us become more aware of others; it can help us understand our similarities; and it can forge bonds of connectedness which can deepen into empathy and compassion. Now, if all are one and one is all, we can see how "the other" is merely a variation of ourselves, as we are variations of the other and the more we know about the other, the more stories to which we are exposed, then the more we know about ourselves.
